I am running in my third Tunnel to Towers run this year to help support veterans and first responders. This is important to me because I have a lot of family members who are veterans, including my dad, and my grandpa was a police lieutenant in the NYPD. Even though I wasn't alive on 9/11, I have learned about it from my family, books, TV, and school and I know it was a terrible day for the country. I live in CT and I like doing the run near my home and one day I hope to do the run in NYC.
